Sedona To Grand Canyon Tours

Sedona is a city in Arizona that is famous for its spectacular beauty. It is close enough to the Grand Canyon that you can visit in a day. Another thing to explore in Sedona is the Coconino National Forest which spans 1.8 million acres. The Grand Canyon was formed over the span of millions of years by the flowing Colorado River. Some of the rock formations contain rock that dates back to the dawn of time. The canyon spans a massive 277 miles in length, 4 to 18 miles in width and a mile in depth. It can be explored on foot, by mule, or even by boat. Many explorers have ventured down the Colorado River on rafts, canoes and other watercraft. This is certainly a great way to experience the beauty of the canyon from the inside. Of course, you can certainly enjoy stunning views from the Rim as well.
